1. Data we collect

Account and contact data: name, business email, organization and role — data you or your organization provide when contracting and using the service.

Usage data: technical access logs (login time, IP address, device type) to the extent necessary for security and operation.

Publicly available media content: titles and texts of publicly published news articles and publicly posted reader comments, collected from publicly accessible portals for media analysis.

2. Data about public figures

The platform analyzes media coverage of public figures and organizations in public and political life. This processing covers exclusively publicly available media information and is based on legitimate interest and the public interest in monitoring public reporting. We do not process special categories of data beyond what media have published, we make no automated decisions with legal effect on anyone, and we never publicly publish sentiment scores about individuals.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process data to: (a) perform the contract with your organization; (b) operate, secure and improve the service (legitimate interest); (c) meet legal obligations; and (d) where consent is the legal basis (e.g. marketing communication), with your consent.

4. Where data is stored

All data is stored on servers in the European Union with technical and organizational safeguards aligned with GDPR standards. Each organization's data is strictly isolated — no other user, including political rivals, can see who you track, what you view or how you respond.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with trusted processors providing infrastructure services (hosting, email delivery) under data-processing agreements, and where required by law or a competent authority.

6. Aggregated and derived data

Analyses, scores, statistics, indices and other derived data produced by our platform — including aggregated and anonymized outputs that cannot be linked to an individual — are the exclusive property of PolyTiks and may be used, published and licensed by us without restriction, to the extent permitted by data-protection law.

7. Retention

Account data is kept for the duration of the contract and thereafter as required by law. Technical logs are kept for a limited security-necessary period. Publicly available media content is kept while relevant to the purpose of media analysis.

8. Your rights

Under the BiH Law on Protection of Personal Data you have the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection, and the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (azlp.ba). 9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies necessary for the site to work (e.g. language preference, login session). We use no advertising cookies and sell nothing to advertisers.
